I saw one in Austin several months ago. It was a Mercedes that looked like a shoe - very small and unusual. Can I be mistaking this for something else? I know I saw the Mercedes emblem.
What the heck IS a smart car ??? I admit, I have never even heard of this... Anyway, I don't think right or left matters... I believe the vast majority of either side supports the troops/police/country/etc...

It may have been a 'test' car but AFAIK they're not for sale in the US yet. Fierst market is supposed to be NYC, I believe Roger Penske's involved with the retail plans.

There is a whole class of 'city-cars' in Europe that haven't been marketed in the US...........yet. Mostly 2 seaters, very tiny, and made for high efficiency urban use.
