They are not being dragged out of their homes to be tortured which they were when Saddam was in power.
The number of people who are killed in Iraq as a direct result of the criminal American attack on the country is a far greater number than were killed under Saddam. The country is in far far worse condition now. The attack by the USA is directly responsible for the major destabilization of the entire region. That war was so ridiculous, unnecessary and just plain stupid it's just beyond any kind of reason. It served to greatly strengthen your major enemy Iran, created tens of thousands of jihadists, cost the USA untold $$$. Created another walking wounded generation of young Americans, Etc. Etc.
In my opinion it was worse than Vietnam and that is hard to accomplish.

I think the middle east is a lost cause because apparently Muslims enjoy killing each other...To date in August the Sunni vs Shiite slaughter in Iraq has killed more than 800 people...I say leave them alone to enjoy their favorite pastime...

It was not a "criminal" American attack. If you want to criticize, criticize those who should be... terrorists, Saddam al Qaeda, the Taliban, etc.
