I hope I'm still alive when this info comes out.

We're just hearing now about things WE did in WWII like using the census bureau to round up Japanese Americans. Denied it for 50+ years until the Treasury documents were publicized.

I'm pretty sure I won't live long enough to reconcile what I was taught in school with what the reality turned out to be.

Obama has said regiem change isn't the goal. Has the goal changed now? If it has then the only way to achieve the outcome would be a boots on the ground invasion. I don't think I have to point out how well our last attempt at regiem change by invasion turned out. This is a poorly thought out step in a very poor, generations spanning, foreign policy. It is a lose lose situation militarily, politically, and financially. Except for those few corporations who profit from supplying our war machine with its tools of the trade.
You sure about that?

Looks like there's a strong possibility that both sides are using chemical weapons. Are you going to side with the tyrant in power or the extremist rebels who were infiltrated by Al Qaeda?
Hmmm...which ones?

Keep up with current events. Iran and North Korea have been brought into the picture by the President's latest statement.

We now have our Democratic "axis of evil"

the media has the same access to china and russia that they do to NK. its all controlled tightly by the governments in those countries. and its all regulated as well. anything that comes out of those countries that is not authorized, is stuff that has been secreted out under great penalty if those people ever got caught. remember there is no right to a speedy trial or lawyers in those countries.

exactly. something we actually agree on. regardless of what we do in syria, we are backing very evil people who will use what ever weapons they have at their means to punish their enemies. the only real option we have, and it isnt much of an option, is to nuke the country and turn it into a glass parking lot.

They may well have starved 1,000,000 people to death. That's OK?

That's good but you're not a US citizen, right? In other words, this isn't something Canada is involved with.
