Plus, if they can get the US to do their dirty work, then they're completely satisfied with that arrangement. I also suspect they definitely don't want the Islamist rebels to prevail.

Saudis don't want to risk a single Saudi life over this. Obama doesn't really care how many innocent Americans are killed and maimed in his wars.
