Well, he's bucking a system that's been in place for centuries.
Was he speaking ex cathedra? If so, he's going to meet with a lot of uproar.
Only when he's speaking ex cathedra (from the seat of Peter) does it become the real deal.

I have never seen a Muslim use their Book to make gays second class citizens, attack women's reproductive rights, and push creationism as science....in America.

Once Muslims start acting as crazy as Christians, then I will speak up.

I can tell you have a sense of humor and I bet you are a kind person. You are probably one of God's favorites.
How about some one who 100% doesnt care? how is that a religion?

A few years back my family moved from a nice rural setting to the city. My youngest son attended high school where he was exposed to Muslim youth for the first time. He entered the bathroom to find a few Muslims doing a ritual washing of their feet in the sink...My son is blonde and blue eyed and probably represented what the classic infidel was to these Muslim boys...One of the Muslims commented to my son ..the comment was contemptuous. He said "My feet are cleaner than your head and face" _In other words you are dirt and I am not.

As for the comment of the previous writer...saying Muslims do not make gays second class citizens ....or to infer they are pro- abortion ...and are not creationists...and that they will "SPEAK UP" once they start acting like "crazy Christians"....WELL................If Islam were to totally take over...They would murder every gay person...they would stone any woman they deemed as impure....So by the time you "speak up" it will be too late.

Islam is supposed to be a submission to God...but in my estimation Islam is a submission to Islam...The reason they seem well behaved in the west and to a degree in Europe is because they are not the majority YET...once they do become the majority...The SUPER extremists will emerge that will make "crazy Christians" look like saints.
