Not that you'd read it, but here's the lowdown on Kerry's military service, which included the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Silver Star for combat action in Vietnam. You're obviously another right winger with zero knowledge of the military, saying he was "dishonorably discharged." You boys are a hoot!
John Kerry had to lobby President Carter to get his dishonorable discharge for prostesting against the military while being on active duty converted so it would not impact his future political ambitions.

Thank you OG. It is disgraceful to lie about Kerry's service saying he was dishonorably discharged. The man had a courageous, sacrificial yet enlightened and caring tour(s) in Vietnam.

I am shocked how poorly Kerry has done so far. I would never have wanted him as president but thought he would be a respectable Secretary of State. He had wide bipartisan support during confirmation hearings.
Not only has he said some ridiculous things about Syria ("unbelievably small strike"), he apparently never thought of forcing Syria to turn over its chemical weapons to avoid an attack. He and Obama let Putin look like Einstein in foreign policy.
Kerry and Obama make the US look like fools that have no clue and no imagination concerning Syria and other hot spots around the world.
What will the dynamic duo come up with next? How will they help Egypt stabilize?
It is embarrassing to witness our Sec of State, our president and his administration stumble around, contradicting each other, the back peddling of comments they made, and then denying they made them, and then lurching back again to take credit for saying them. Then, after witnessing this comedy of errors acted out on the world stage, they have the audacity to claim it was all a carefully crafted, and skillful display of world class diplomacy and statesmanship.
