Now when are they going to vote him out of office?
I guess they will have to wait about six more years.

Oh, since when???

Sheesh, I don't think I've ever seen the Dems give standing ovations to people like Weiner and Jon Edwards.

When Sen. David Vitter, R-La., showed up in Washington, D.C., again last week after hiding with the equivalent of a paper bag on his head, he was welcomed back to a closed Republican Senate luncheon with a loud standing ovation.

Vitter had fled after admitting that he was included on a private telephone list of johns made public by the so-called "Washington madam," Deborah Jean Palfrey, whom law enforcement officials accuse of running a prostitution ring. Vitter didn't publicly deny anything, saying only that he had sinned and was sorry. He is refusing to discuss the subject further. Hmm.

I think he was referring to ideological rather than moral purity.

Sorry, no.

I'd rather vote for my senator than let the idiots in the state legislature do it.

No party walks lock step on every issue. Is it your contention that the Dem's against expanding the war into Syria need to vote for it anyway?

McCain is a neocon and he almost lost his senate seat until he "conveniently" went back to the GOP camp... he is going to get kicked out of office... its a guarantee... time to clean house... ironically, the liberals are siding with him "conveniently"...

My guess is he's being blackmailed and bribed into taking the political positions since the early 2000's
