The super wealthy and republican leadership understand that over time the American people will come to realize that they do indeed have a right to healthcare and always have. That is why the republican party is so desperate to stop healthcare reform.

The hard core conservatives in the house were elected by hard core conservative voters to shut Obama down. They're doing exactly what they were elected to do.
They don't answer to the whole country, they answer to the majority of the voters in their districts.
And they are prepared to put on one dandy dog and pony show for their constituents and the Super Pacs that funded their election/reelection.

When does anything get done for the American people? ObamaCare is a response to a terrible need in this country for many people. Is it perfect, probably not, but it is intended to improve the general welfare and health of Americans. How is that not an idea with bipartisan support? And don't give me the story that the GOP wants to repeal this to improve it. We saw how much progress this made under the Bush Administration. None. Obama made something very important and positive happen. That is what drives these moonbats so damn crazy.

The American people kicked the democrats out of power after they passed the travesty Obamacare, so you're right the people DID decide, and they decided it was a bad idea.
