If Obama had not had to contend with the RWNJs in congress, and his ideas had been given a chance things would be very different today.

They fear above all else, that if implemented they would WORK WELL. That is the sole reason they oppose. Just consider for a minute. If they had just let the president run with his agenda in his first term and things worked out as badly as they would have you believe then Romney would now be sitting in the Oval office. The RWNJs only agenda is the protection of the 1%. Nothing else at all matters to them. They would sink the entire nation rather than let one single simple measure through if they thought it would have a negative impact on their masters. It just makes me sick.

Bush and the Republicans were an unprecedented disaster. Two wars AND tax cuts? Obama was essentially handed a depression by the Cons. It he gets it all back to normal within 8 years, consider it a miracle and an amazing accomplishment.

2. Liberal policy demanded that Fannie and Freddie finance home loans to unqualified borrowers
3. Frank and Dodd defended Fannie and Freddie, as they were receiving campaign cash from them
4. Clinton repealed Glass-Steagle
5. A "toxic stew" of bad assets was created by liberal policy to feed to the banks, like "chum" to sharks
6. Oddly, George Bush, who LIBS blame for the financial meltdown, was one of the few who warned of the impending disaster.

After Obama is out, libs will have had eight years of control. Eight years of president, eight years of senate control (we will see in 2014), and two years of congressional control. Few, if any presidents, have had such a political landscape in which they could implement thier policy.
