Syria crosses a red line Obama set and he threatens to bomb that bejesus out of the Syrian military.
He has a closed door meeting with Russian President Putin.
48 hours later, President Putin and Syria announce that they will turn over all the chemical weapons in Syrian stockpiles.
UN chemical weapons inspectors are already on the ground in Syria two weeks after the agreement to remove/destroy Syria's chemical weapons.
Within Weeks, Iranian President Rouhani, offers to allow full, transparent, inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities and vows to never build a nuclear weapon.
The signature health insurance program ACA rolls out on Oct. 1st providing health care insurance for an additional 30 million ppl in America.
All these world changing developments in the space of 35 days. Pretty remarkable.
What do the republicans do as their part in solving the challenges the nation faces?

I thought all they had to do was get rid of the exception for Congress, everybody gets included under this tent - or it doesn't get funded.

I guess that you all forget the pledge that the leading republicans made to make sure that Obama was a complete failure BEFORE he had even done anything. They wasted time and money voting on the same thing 33 times with the same results considering the S.C approval. If memory serves me correctly they did the same thing regarding taxing the rich and Obama blinked. I guess after getting "punked" by the republicans so much in the first term he has just had enough of their bullying and childish ways backed by a few fringe low informational voters
The government was corrupt and instead of dealing with the scandals that were appearing weekly...The Premier shut the government down...then after things cooled down- He quit and ran off...the Liberal Party of Ontario then had a convention and "appointed" some old lesbian lady as the new Premier of Ontario...She was not elected...and is now avoiding an election....In other words we have a little fascist non-elected government..........The worst part is no body gives a damn...The current party stole and squandered a few billion dollars in an effort to stay in power...and no one cares....

Obama's speech was hilarious. He has no clue as to why congress - the house in particular - has great power. He should look into the Federalist Papers and read the hows and whys of the writing of the Constitution. Congress is the most powerful branch by design. Executive is 2nd and judicial is 3rd. Read the Constitution and see what powers congress was/wasn't granted. Here's a clue Article 1, section 8. BHO thinks he is a king or emperor or something really important. He is close to tyrant and that almost spells tyranny - you can get in trouble for that. Red dot on the forehead kind of trouble.
The Declaration of Independence was great but the list of grievances should have been included as they can be directed at BHO like they were King George as most certainly apply to him directly and others to the federal government in general.

The question remains...Who will fund it all? Where are these magic funds originating? The USA is already in debt and running a deficit for time eternal. The debt will never be paid off unless the US kills the rest of the world and starts anew. There isn't enough money in the world to pay off what the USA has run up in the past century. If you don't know that you don't pay attention. BHO wants to tax millionaires for what reason? He is a millionaire - will he tax himself?
No one really knows what the Constitution is though elected officials all swear an oath to uphold it. BHO is circumventing it on a daily basis and the SCOTUS sits on their 3rd class hands ignoring it. Congress evidently has BB sized testicles because they haven't dragged his crooked azz into hearings to answer some real questions. They allow him to put gag orders on his crooked AG and DHS director. Hillary got the big pass after shouting "What difference does it make!"
Liberals wonder what the big deal is about passing this budget. Shut it down and find out. Those who produce will and don't need the government to do so. The public will learn there really is a man behind the curtains and the left wants us to ignore him(them).

Here is a simple question...suppose there is an illegal family of four living in Austin, TX and needs to purchase health insurance before they are fined - where do they go and how much do they pay?
Apply that same question to an existing American family of four - who has the answers? It should be comparable to buying gasoline, no? It should be transparent as glass if the federal govt is going to hose it up really good.
Keep in mind the left wants socialism and the end goal is communism. All in favor raise your hands.
