What kind of government does Obama run if one person can shut it down? Ted Cruz has just demonstrated how powerful he can be and he promised to do it again.

Barack Obama is a form? Back to first grade with you! So far it's working out pretty damned well. How about you?

Well, you get 100 points for not understanding how our government works.

If he does, the republicans will throw him out of the party. Ted Cruz is a one-man circular firing squad.

They'll throw out anyone whom they see as a threat to their position and power. That's sad. They need new blood, new ideas and, most of all, courage to stand up for what's right.

Ted Cruz' ideas are NOT new. They're insane.

This whole ordeal has been less about the Republican Party, and more about Ted Cruz.

Cruz has shown himself to be the epitome of the self-serving demagogue. Not surprising that he appeals so strongly to the low-info tea people.

4. A splintered party
5. This is my favorite part, the elimination of the only 2 leverage points you had, the debt ceiling and the shutdown. There is no way republicans are going down the road of a shut down again and for the debt ceiling, why don't we let Redstate and Breibart explain:

McConnell Debt Plan: Press Release Conservatism | RedState

Senate Debt Deal Weakens Congress on Debt Ceiling

The deal gives Obama the ability to raise the debt on Febuary 7th, and also they can still use extraordinary measures, which means we won't hit again for another year

6. Ted Cruz got 1.2 million dollars in campaign contributions in the 3rd quarters. It looks like he is doing just fine
The Republican party is damaged due to the liberal Republicans like McCain who want to do nothing but kiss liberal butts. Far too many older GOP types just want to sit there and be paid and cave in to all the democrats' whims.

Obama did get everything he wanted --- so the 50 million uninsured are no longer an issue. They got their obamacare.

There is some talk now that the liberals may delay obamacare because it's going so poorly --- that will be a total complete hoot if Obama himself ends up delaying it. That will show Ted Cruz was right all along.

Poll numbers are not votes -- and you have to question what poll. The mainstream media is a mouthpiece of the democrat party --- no poll they do is worth anything, many people pay no attention to mainstream media.

LOL! RWNJs have learned nothing the past 4 years. Everyone that they thought "scared" the left turned out they were defeated, pretty badly too in come cases.

In a room full of children, Santa Claus wins, but this will change when the ability to steal from future generations ends.
