Haha. You think people on C-D believe in flu shots?

Cool. You want to talk about abiogenesis. Prehistoric Biochemistry here we come!

P.S: That's not part of evolutionary theory, but it's still cool.

It did begin with Darwin and unlike him, people after him were unwilling to accept the faults in his theory, so they created new theories to explain away the errors. It is not very convincing, but you believe it because it has been repeated to you all your life.

Nobody knows why those two events occur. However, it sure isn't at the hands of some creator.

Not every unexplained phenomenon has to be attributed to some divine creator. Throughout the greater part of human existence, everybody thought the sun rose instead of the earth coming into exposure to the sun as a result of rotation.

Sure, it has a place in the schools. I would expect that a class on comparative religion might have a module about competing creation myths.

No, no, no. Sigh. Would you like me to tell you the history of evolutionary thought? It'll only take about... 4 months.

There's no theory within evolution that states anything evolved out of think air (or even thin air).

Default This is scary. Board of education member says evolution proves creationism

Nothing "scary" about that.

1. It's Texas.

2. It's a Rick Perry appointee.

You were expecting a non-idiot?

You don't believe in God, so you invent theories to explain things you do not understand. Believing in evolution and things appearing out of thin air requires more faith than believing in God. It's like believing that Boeing 747 appeared when a tornado hit a garbage dump, and arranged the trash into an airplane.

Why.....that's just crazy talk!

How can something which was never created evolve?

Only 85% of the earths population believe in creationism.

Why talk about it in public?!

Lefties never cease to embarrass themselves.
