There is nothing logical about it. The fossil evidence proves a massive explosion of new creatures, as opposed to a slow line of evolving creatures.

Whether it has a place in school depends on whether we teach religious views in school.

That's theory, not proven. Fossil evidence is still being debated.

If you've ever looked into the subject of science, you would understand why it's most logical at this point. It's not supported by mythical stories like creationism.
