Actually thats not true, just like most of what you say..

In most states, a simple accusation of domestic violence REQUIRES the police to arrest someone, anyone, in order to seperate the two. They arrest, and then sort it out later..

Thats being done because if the police ignore the complaint and they turn out to be true, then the liability rests with the police..

Oh by the way, when anti gun nuts say " we aren't after the legal citizen" or " we aren't against hunters and hunting guns", well guess this situation of this man proves that wrong doesn't it? When you persucute a man for having one live hunting shotgun shell, and a empty .270 rifle casing which the .270 has never been known to be chambered for anything other than a hunting rifle it just goes to show that anti gun nuts are many times extremists looking for a way to punish anything or anybody gun related and are two faced in hiding their agenda.

I am all for the cops investigating a situation of course no one wants to see anything bad happen that could have been avoided but the requirement that someone must be arrested is over the top. Every law that we allow that is a "zero tolerance policy" has bad consequences that potentially ruins a person life and we all pay for that burden afterward, and really I don't blame the politicians fully on that the voter is to blame for allowing these zero tolerance laws to become also.
