Agreed, they should pay ALL of their taxes just as any business should. And where the hell does all of their money go anyway?
I was looking into buying Jets season tickets for me and the wife and the personal seat licenses at the stadium start at 2500 per seat , not including the cost of the tickets.
Factor in that the stadium probably holds around 30k people, and the broadcasting rights for each game, and someone is making some MAJOR bucks from all of this.
Once again, the Jets are a franchise and are taxed as a corporation. All profits they make are taxed just like any other corporation.
Which is kind of the big lie by omission, the NFL we're discussing isn't any of the 32 teams, they're already taxed as corps. It's just the NFL administration itself, which is a council of representatives for the 32 teams who run the league, and manage disbursal of TV revenues and ticket sales profit sharing, it's actually pretty close to a Union for the 32 teams.
most liberals would only want the taxes on white owners. they would want black athletes and obama supporters to get a free ride. you'll see it throughout the life of this thread. they won't talk about the black that makes $40,000,000 a year. they'll complain about his white boss.
Does that "black" making $40,000,000 a year pay taxes?
Liberals think that all wealth belongs to the government, and as has already been demonstrated by liberals on this thread, if someone keeps what they earned, they are accused of being "given a gift", or "not paying their fair share".
It is their money, it does not belong to the federal government, and one is entitled to what is their own.
Liberals comprehend this because they are socialists at heart who despise the idea of private property and individual liberty.
Why anyone with half a brain would vote for a Democrat is beyond Harrier.
Harrier did vote for a Democrat once - and he has since gained the other 5/8 of his brain.
What about the money the 47% earns, is that their money?

Very good observation.
Too bad that it will be ignored by the low information "corporations are evil, they must pay their fair share" crowd.
The fact that the NFL teams are already paying their fair share and that the NFL is not "getting away" with anything only gets in the way of a good rant for these misinformed MSNBC sheeple.
Any money that is earned by someone is their money.
What is so hard about that to understand?
The 47% that Romney calls moochers who think the government owes them a living. The 47% that many in the rightwing are pissed that they get to keep THEIR money

Romney never said such a thing and you are entirely mischaracterizing what was said.
Become informed, stop believing the lies that MSNBC feeds you, and get back to Harrier when you are ready to engage in a rational debate sans left wing political smears.
In the meantime - let Harrier make it clear - any money that someone earns belongs to them.
This is not rocket science.
