Should religious organizations lose their tax exempt status?
Since many are now involving themselves in politics isn't it time for them to lose their special status. Think of the revenue the government would gain.

Aren't churches non-profit institutions anyway?

Entities liked the United Way or the Make a Wish foundation aren't taxed, are they?

It just seems like it would just be a matter of churches changing their tax filling status.

Anyway, anyone who is more familiar with non-profits and taxes, please chime in.
