I think the AFA can't even defend their reporting of the controversial. They didn't report a single sentence from the cited report. So I think the story as it stands is crap.

That said, obviously acting on it (by watching real child porn and/or by raping/molesting children) is extremely wrong and morally unjustifiable, though.
Of course, if a pedophile wants to watch cartoon/animated child porn, then I think that he/she should be able to do this, since it is a victimless activity.
This is a tempest in a teapot; whether it's classified as an orientation or as something else does not require society to junk the age of consent. But if it mitigates the irrational hatred that exists for pedophiles, then I suppose it might be a step in the right direction.
