I agree with her. Boeing threatened to move the company elsewhere the workers should do whatever they can to make sure they stay there. People before profits!
So...can "the workers" and Ms. Sawant be able to force Boeing's Customers to buy their product????
Plus, with the Machinists grumbling, you can be sure they (the customers) are taking interest in all this. Don't think AirBus, Embraer, and others (even Tupolev) aren't just drooling at the possibilities!
Oh, and what if Boeing just said "the hell with it" and decided to move to Canada, Mexico, or even China??
We will not move, We want the Constitution enforced, why would we move to another country if that is our goal?
We are not a democracy, the sole reason it is nothing but mob rule. 50.01% can do anything to the 49.99%.
We are Constitutional Republic, not a democracy.
Don't think you haven't the slightest idea of what you are talking about when you say you want the Constitution enforced.
Did the Supreme Court dissolve? Or do you not like how they've interpreted the Constitution per the way this document gave judicial power. Which is it, because there are ONLY two real answers......
In Seattle, there are only two parties... Communist, and communist-lite. This change is nothing to get excited about.
Yet Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, DFW, Houston, NYC and Boston are the only large metros outperforming the rest of the country..... Lots of blue and purple there........ Not much deep red.....

Nope if you have no interest in buying it that's fine. Some airlines only go to certain cities so they would have to fly Boeing if they intend to get to certain places. If they want to move? If I was running things I would tax them so heavily they wouldn't even think about it. ANY item they tried to buy or sell in this country would be so highly taxed they would either stay or come back if they did leave,if they did leave I would dismantle their company from top to bottom and find anything and everything wrong with it so it would take forever for them to leave. I would then recommend a government owned or paid for airliner factory be built in its place to give the workers the capitalist scum left behind in pursuit of more profit despite their workers needing jobs.

Boeing is not an airline, genius.
So you would tax the bejeezus out of them and hasten the collapse of the company. That sure seems like sound economic policy. Must be why Venezuela and North Korea have the most dynamic economies in the world.......oops!
You'd make a good little Mussolini. Or a Hitler wannabe. Myopic to the end. And while you're at it, call up the National Guard and have all the machinists, engineers, HR, etc. held at gunpoint so they couldn't stop making planes.
Here's an idea - spraypaint "Juden" on all the windows of the Boeing plant - then firebomb the place - round up all those evil workers there and send them (on trains of course) to the faulty-showerhead facility at the "Work is Freedom" National Park.
But if AppalachianAmerican was running the USSR..... it would be just all sunshine and unicorns!
Those planes coming out of his plants would make the Jetsons look quaint!
Besides - the Trabant only suffered from media bias.
Absolutely! Why do you think the US brought all those German Scientists over here after the war? Hell the USSR and the US fought over them at times...they were brilliant because their government cared enough about them try and push the limits over technology.

That'll show 'em!!!
I hadn't thought of the national guard point a gun at them that's a good idea. See I figure my people would love me though because I love them enough to take care of them and make life great for them.
