I have never seen this site pay so much attention to a random city council member before. Does this one city council member have any real power in the state of Washington?
She's one of the 1st socialist politicians to run and win openly as a socialist.
she doesnt, because she has no plan. all she will do is try to incite the workers, and then when they actually do try to take the plants over, and boeing counters with a move to states with better working conditions, she will then lay the blame on the management of boeing to try and increase her power base, even though her words would have caused the very issue she would then be railing against, and that is the busting of the unions at boeing.
That's exactly what I see happening.
And all she needs to do is incite the wrong group to take over some business and run it themselves.
That's fantastic, a socialist win. As the Republicans and corporate Democrats bring on plutocracy, perhaps there will be more democratic socialist election wins in reaction.

Discuss money no, stuff as much into their pockets as possible via thief and then demonize anyone trying to earn money though honest work and innovation.

Well if you want far right wing government, why don't you move? Is it because you don't understand how a democracy works? People are free to vote for who they think will best represent them.

I admire her honesty.
Not only socialist, but I've seen her openly call herself "a Marxist." She is not going to get a takeover of Boeing. That's just pie-in-the-sky rhetoric. But I think she could well get a $15 minimum wage enacted for the city of Seattle. The result of that is that teenagers and others at the bottom of the job-skill scale are now shut out from employment. They can't get on at a crap job and begin the process of working their way up. I've also read that she wants to impose rent control.
What gets me is that she teaches economics at Seattle Central Community College, so presumably has been through micro-econ 101. How is it that she is teaching econ, and yet does not understand the futility of price controls?
Yeah, it's good when people are put out of work, especially if you can punish them for standing up for themselves. Cut their pay and send the jobs to the American South, or Japan. Threaten them, punish them, divide and conquer, that's the Republican way.
If you cant make money, you can not operate a business, how you not understand this?
So workers are entitled to a wage, but the owner is not entitled to a profit of the business they own?
Further more you are aware that the Union wage is highly inflated, it is a bubble, and what to bubbles always do?

We will not move, We want the Constitution enforced, why would we move to another country if that is our goal?
We are not a democracy, the sole reason it is nothing but mob rule. 50.01% can do anything to the 49.99%.
