You mean the right to freely practice one's religion? That was established in the Constitution many years ago, but of course, a gay's wedding cake should take priority over someone's constitutional rights.

And they couldn't enjoy that right and privilege at some other bakery?

Why would a Christian bakery put OT Mosaic law scripture on their cake when we worship Jesus Christ who made those laws null and void?

Your god must be so proud, what with you going around saying you want to poison people you don't like.
What's next? Hams filled with hemlock? Shellfish filled with strychnine? Rabbit filled with rat poison?
Bacon filled with botulism?
the difference between what I said and your conclusions is the difference between night and day.

this has nothing to do with people I don't like.

I really don't like you, but if would never even dream of poisoning you if you came to my hypothetical bakery.

however if you came there trying to force me, to do something much worse then death, to progress a tyrannical attack on my religion, that is getting worse by the day, I'll have to be an idiot not to retaliate in any way possible.

This country was founded on the premises of freedom from tyranny. Millions of people came to this country for freedom of religion. These gay terrorists are turning this country in to a tyrannical goverment worse than the ones we all fled from.

The right to wedding cake is defined where in the constitution?

Look ... listen carefully ... the right of a business or individual to serve or not serve is the most fundamental of rights. If you have no choice, and the government forces you to work for someone else, that is slavery .. forced labor against your will IS SLAVERY.

You may not like such freedom in this specific circumstance, but in another scenario, you might see the value of such freedom of choice.

For example, let's say that the local chapter of the KKK wants to have Ben's BBQ to catr their next event. Ben is a black man ... should the govrnment force Ben to cook for and serve 200 hooded racists? Or should Ben enjoy the right to tell them to take a hike?

Think ... it's hard work for so many, but gets much easier with practice!

Again......if this baker only wants to sell to the select "moral few", he should stick to church bake sales.

The KKK is a political organization, they are not covered under federal or state anti discrimination laws.

Ben would probably be smart enough to say "Sorry, we're all booked up".

Furthermore, being in the KKK is a choice. It's not like discriminating against black people, gay people, short people or red-headed people.

You are rationalizing., and it's an extemely flawed argument you're using here. People cannot be discriminated against based on religious preference, but is that not also a choice? No one is born a Christian, or Muslim or Bhudist .. it's a choice., is it not?

But I love the automatic solution you as a liberal have for good old Ben .... just lie, and say he's all booked up. Lying just seems to come so naturally to you liberals, don't it?

But what happens if the KKK member is smart enough to not wear his hooded sheet when contracting Ben ... and old Ben doesn't find out that it's a KKK event until he arrives? Well, just grin and bear it, Ben? That is what he must do, because, after all, discrimination is discrimination!!!

If Ben agrees to do the event, then decides not to do it after arriving, Ben would be in breech of contract. That is a whole different set of laws.
