The Dems will hold the Senate and pick up a few in the house. The GOP still offers ZERO reasonable alternative. They just have not learned from their 2012 mistakes. An election in which they got thumped, but didn't "see" it coming until about 3 days after the election was over.

btw, cutting government did happen, its happened numerous times in the past, remember Clinton cutting the growth of government, which you left wing kooks proclaimed would cause the nations economy to collapse? Most politicians have rightly learned to depend on the 'short memory and attention span' of their constituents. It's pointless to try to figure-out which politician is in favor ... until about ten minutes before any given election.
