That should pretty much be the end of the story from a national perspective.

From some of the media and certain people on this forum to harp on this thing like it's the biggest scandal in history is ridiculous. But hey, keep telling yourself that New York is the center of the universe if that makes you feel like a special snowflake.
It's a big story here in Pennsylvania. It seems that is all people are talking about here in the Keystone State. We share bridges with New Jersey so the story resonates with us.

Don't be dismissive of this scandal. It is pretty big. No, Christie won't lose his job over it, but this may have damaged whatever political ambitions he has for 2016.

Christie could very easily lose his job over this, depending on what the investigations uncover.

There are prima facia cases already in evidence to support conspiracy and obstruction of justice charges against Kelly, Wildstein, and Baroni. Just look at those three. Do any of them look like they're the type to hold their mud, and take a fall for anyone?

What does this issue have to do with Obama?

Bottom line: If Christie was personally responsible for this, he is not fit to be President, if he was going to run. If his people were off the chain and Christie truly had nothing to do with it, he will survive. He is a popular Governor and swift action was taken. I hope this next Presidential election is filled with governors. I am over the senators.

BTW, I believe the "technique" is a variation of an ad hominem attack in debating circles...

This is so ridiculous. Who cares??? I live here and deal with traffic daily. How would anyone even know if traffic was any worse on th GWB? That bridge is awful no matter what time of day you go on it.

I cannot believe the poutrage from the media over something so dumb.

True.

Anyone who dislikes the idea that someone uses a government position to (illegally) punish people who simply are political opponents...and a considerable number of other very-innocents.

The stupidity of this situation is, IMHO, way more condemning for Christie than even the illegality. It boggles my mind that ANYONE in this day and age would EVER send self-incriminating ANYTHING back and forth about ANYTHING. Just plain Good Ol' "I'm Better Than You" stupid arrogance...that WILL come back to haunt them.
