Then these people need to educate themselves on when such traditions should be upheld and when they simply do not apply.

Well, perhaps I should have said "the right to have these benefits."

It's not proper for governmental agencies to ignore laws and rulings. BTW - I believe this whether I agree with them or not.

All that was tyrannically dismissed by a single, biased, openly gay judge.

That is clear victimization.

Where are our victims rights?
You're a victim, now? Take off your crown off thorns. It's unbecoming.

You mean like how the Democrat governor and secretary of state of California failed to do their duty to defend California state law when they refused to defend California's constitutional amendment that defined marriage as union between a man and a woman?

Or are you just a hypocrite, like most liberals?

I don't know about you, but I've done far more head-shaking and face-palming than laughing. That such people even exist at all is no laughing matter!

Yup.

My ex left the family when our youngest son was four months old. I have remained single.

We had three sons (the youngest turned eighteen in June), and although their father was around for visitations, sometimes a year or more would go by with no contact from their dad at all (usually during his most recent divorce), so the parenting was left entirely up to me.

And my sons have turned out wonderfully, and yes, I am going to take most of the credit for that. No problems with the law, no discipline problems in school, all three of them with good jobs, and the two older ones in loving and committed relationships. And they love their mama.

So, having two parents, specifically two parents of the opposite sex, guarantees nothing.

In fact, the way some of these people post, I believe that most of them would rather see children raised by abusive straight parents rather than loving, supportive, and nurturing parents of the same sex.

It's shameful and disgusting, really.
