Well this thread seems to be devolving into the OP just making personal attacks against other posters....

I didn't say there was absolutely nobody. I said that it was an insignificant population of "redneck"-type (not upper middle class type) conservatives, except District A. Spring Branch has older Tea Party voters who control the area because the non-citizen Hispanics can't vote.

District G and District E have populations of Republicans but they are more upper middle class and upper class (some of River Oaks, Memorial Villages area, Kingwood, Clear Lake, Energy Corridor).

"Redneck" is arguably racist, and "wingnut" is juvenile, and hardly befitting language for an elected official. Perhaps what should happen here is a national media outrage-fest, an apology from the mayor, and a comforting phone call from Pres. Obama to Phil Robertson.

"Redneck" is not seen as racist (the stereotypical "redneck" is white and so is 70% of the US population), but it is seen as classist.

The thing is, big cities are centers for liberals while small towns and rural areas are centers for conservatives. I bet small town mayors say the same thing on Twitter but nobody cares because they are small towns (it would be fun to look for the tweets).

I attacked you? You really do have some thin skin.

Your run-on sentence deserves some punctuation.

Possibly in the same way I "threatened" you.

Your attention to detail is only surpassed by your lies, that's not my user account.

What gave you the idea that I didn't know that? He's not you, but your punctuation is just as poor as his, though.

I don't support his views anymore than I support yours. But you're both entitled to them.
