If anything Obama making up laws as he goes, apparently with the tacit approval from Congress, and the completely botched ObamaCare roll out with all the millions of insurance cancellations, has strengthened the TEA Party's resolve.
Expect another wave of TEA Party candidates in 2014. The Democrats are going to get stomped.
Obama is small change compared to the tea party. They make up the entire government as they go along, right down to the national emblem.
In the end, resolve don't mean squat. Leverage only lasts until the next election. We all know the once-mighty always fall in time.
Without a coherent national agenda, promoted by a unified national leadership, the tea party is not party at all. It's nothing but a disgruntled bunch of oppositionists, and opposition only never wins. There always has to be a carrot as much as a stick for a real political party, not a rump on a larger party, to succeed and last a while.
No, it's here is the plan for people of age X and here is the plan for people of age Y because the plan of people of age X isn't longterm sustainable but they are too old to convert to a new plan at this point in their lives. I'm correcting the portrayal of the TP as a few old people who have time to get on TV. This about demographics, not policy.
Incorrect. The Democratic Party harms the nation, all the time. The TEA Party is attempting to bring fiscal sanity back to the Republican Party. From FY00 through FY07 the Republican Party was spending like they were 1960s Democrats. The Republican base is primarily fiscal conservatives, and they are no longer being represented by the Establishment Republicans. That is why the TEA Party exists, and will continue to exist the more that fiscal insanity presides over Congress.

Actually, I pay taxes through the nose for Democrat Marxism and get absolutely nothing in return, and I never will. Your extremely naive if you think Democrats have ever done anything to help the nation. Their sole motivation is the utter destruction of the US. They even started the Civil War in an attempt to accomplish that goal. However, since Democrats lost that war they have been doing their best to spend the US into bankruptcy, and succeeding. You do know that with power comes responsibility right? Well probably not. We could have a tea party President, tea party House, filibuster proof tea party Senate and tea party courts and the cons would still blame all the bad stuff on liberals
