People who think making more laws will affect the behavior of people who don't obey laws, are stupid by definition, aren't they?

So it's hardly a surprise when they prove it.

It's not about gun safety or getting guns out of the hands of criminals. It's about expanding the definition of criminal, and making it more difficult for law abiding citizens to be armed.

It's a Ghost Gun with a 30 Magazine Clip!

Reminds me of (D) Barbara Makulski brandishing a Thompson sub-machine gun during the Clinton fake "assault weapon" debate.

"Gun control" isn't about guns.

It's about control.

senator is being 'mocked relentlessly.'

I still suspect that this is a diversionary move for him to take the focus off of his corruption scandal.

Yeah. It's too bad lack of gun ownership doesn't have a bunch of cool arcane terminology attached to it to make it more studly.

What I am is, sick and tired of a double standard.

A republican, or a conservative says something that isn't "Technically correct", and the open season in every publication across the country.

When a liberal or a democrat says something that isn't "Technically correct",, and it's oh well, yadda yadda yadda, deflect, deflect, deflect, "would you use this gun to hunt deer", response.

Grow up. It has nothing to do with deer. For starters, you have a man, trying to legislate something, he knows nothing about! How would you like your pediatrician to provide nutritional information for your child, and then find out he knows nothing about nutrition, other than chew food and swallow?

As for guns, ok, time for a break. Want to look for real killers? Did you know more people died from Misdiagnosis, or issues with doctors/hospitals, than shot with guns for the past decade?

Gun deaths are not even in the top 15 causes of death in the U.S. How about focusing on real issues!

Preventable Medical Errors

RealClearScience - Top 10 Causes of Death in the U.S.

and then this jewel -

Quote:
Now comes a of the Journal of Patient Safety that says the numbers may be much higher — between each year who go to the hospital for care suffer some type of preventable harm that contributes to their death.
That would make medical errors the , behind heart disease, which is the first, and cancer, which is second.
How Many Die From Medical Mistakes In U.S. Hospitals? : Shots - Health News : NPR

Instead of playing games and getting attention on stupid crap, MAYBE our legislators can focus on real problems and do things like a balanced budget, paying of our country's debt, protecting the nation, seeing what can be done to make hospitals safer, you know that place we go when we need medical care, not to get killed,,,,etc etc.

You really think that the gun he's holding is a problem? Gas/styrofoam, a box of BB's, brake fluid and chlorine tablets for your pool can make a much more dangerous weapon.

"Really quick" and "30 rounds in 1/2 second" are not the same....

Such a double standard...so out in front of them, and they cannot even see it....
