Yes. Educate yourself on the subject before attempting to ban it so you don't come off looking a complete idiot which the left is replete with.

To author or endorse a bill against said firearms? Yes.

Would you want to use that weapon in an urban area? Would you use it to hunt deer?
Hell yes I would! There is no way to predefine how many rounds one would need to defend him or herself. In urban areas the most dangerous people tend to be armed with "real quick" weapons.

The woman who unloaded her revolver into a madman intent on killing her and her son barely survived. The perpetrator managed to pull himself out of the home and was caught some miles up the road.

The law of the quick, and the dead.

I don't hunt deer, nor do I want to be the deer.

2. Any semi-automatic weapon can shoot "30 times real quick". Would it make you feel better if it was fed by a 200 round belt?

3. Would I use that to hunt deer? No- the 2nd amendment is not about deer hunting. It is about protecting the citizens against a tyrannical government. Deer are not a threat, in my mind, to our liberty.
Thanks - you prove my point.

So the guy is ignorant about firearms, big deal, he's not a firearms instructor.

I believe he might be referring to 'gauss gun.' I don't know a lot about them but I think it's kind of like a mini rail gun. They are home-made by hobbyists. According to this, the muzzle energy is 3% of that of a .22lr

A full-auto Gauss gun probably won’t hurt much

It is more or less a toy.

The guy is still an idiot talking about a 30 caliber clip, magazine clips, and so forth.

Why I would run for cover when an idiot picks up a gun.

Anything to change the subject. Especially when they're losing the original debate so badly. Again.

That you think the comments made online represent any demographic says a lot. Most people never see the inside of a forum or a comment box when it comes to their political leanings.

This place is the perfect example. The moderates are hardly noticed in here. But I'll bet most posters in here can name the top 10 extremists, the ones who consistently rattle off talking points like robot parrots. The ones who say tings no sane person would say in a live setting. Hardly representative of the general population.

Do you know how to tell a moderate from an extremist?

If you'll speak everything you type in here verbatim in public, you're probably a moderate. Most people in here wouldn't dare to speak what they type in public.

Thanks for quoting. Since some liberal took offense against his idiocy and had my posts deleted.
