So...lets say that all law abiding citizens turn in all their firearms...now only the criminals have firearms.

What would happen to people like these?

NRA-ILA | Armed Citizen

So now only the criminals have guns. (Oh, and the police that get there after a crime is committed will have their guns too).

So, the criminals will stop committing crimes?

Oh, I know, the criminals would also give up their guns too, right?

What about our Alaska Natives that depend on firearms for subsistence hunting?

And if you are hiking in the woods and meet his guy? You going to use a rock to stop him?

If that were true Scandinavia would be lawless, with gunslinging criminals running the street.

Instead, Scandinavia leads the world in happiness, quality of life, education, health etc. etc. and has almost zero gun violence. Scandinavia has incredibly tough gun control laws.
Have you provided any evidence that it is a result of tough gun control laws?

No. It's obviously an absolute coincidence that countries with tough gun control laws, or rather not allowing citizens to own firearms other than for hunting, all much safer than the us. Canada, Germany, Sweden, France, Japan. Do you need more examples? Lol

People brought up with guns have no problem with them.
People brought up in a slanted environment have a fear of the unknown .
funny thing is a lot of those folk are getting guns of their own to protect them selves ad are no longer afraid of the gun .
So If more people would grow up and learn to take responsibility for themselves you would see a whole different attitude among would be bullies.
You know they have guns , their hoping you never do.
A billie government is what we are dealing with and they are getting worse not better.

Canada is FAR from being homogeneous yet its population isn't excessively violent and few people feel the need to carry firearms. I wonder why? Oh yeah, perhaps they're RAISED to understand that firearms are NOT a necessity to life?

Why don't you compare the US to Russia which bans firearms and yet has a higher murder rate than the US? That doesn't fit your agenda, does it.
Russia is still a developing country just like Mexico is. So that's two countries where gun laws aren't completely working fine. So what about the DOZENS OF COUNTRIES where gun control IS working? How come people like you REPEATEDLY pretend such countries don't exist and only look at nations that are usually less developed and use that as an example of gun control being ineffective?

How do you explain Idaho having more guns per capita than Canada and a lower murder rate? Anyone who honestly looks at firearm deaths in the US can see that it isn't guns that are the problem.

Obviously the solution to gun violence is to ban liberal controlled cities. That is where most of the crime comes from and is driving up the stats for the entire country.
Where did I ever say that guns were the only problem? As I explained above, you can raise people to be better and more peaceful and hence guns aren't an issue. The thing is people keep talking about teaching people to use guns properly and it won't be an issue. Well how about teaching people that guns aren't necessary in the first place as they do in Canada? Why can't THAT be the default instead of having firearms in a modern society being the default?

As for 'liberal cities' having high crime rates, alot of those places also happen to have alot of blacks living there as well. Remove black people from those stats and I'm betting crime and murder rates from all those cities will look infinitely better. So again its about the people or more specifically that group of people.

Mexico. There are many, many restrictions on handguns and rifles for the average citizen and only a single gun store in the entire country. How is their gun crime down there?

Yeah, because correlation totally equals causation, right? With that logic, the fact that Scandinavians lead the world in pickled herring consumption could also be the reason for the low violent crime rate.
