Maybe he just realized that an article that is talking about states being innovative and then lists a district as a state is something he needs to bother with.
How good can the article be if they author can't tell the difference between a state and a district.
Did you even read the source?
"among the 50 states and District of Columbia,..."
"Innovative" is a subject word that is 100% meaningless.
It's like saying women in such and such a state are prettier.
Maybe to you, but not necessarily to me.
No, it's not "subject" (subjective???).
Did you even read the article? It clearly lays out the OBJECTIVE criteria the authors used to compile their ranking- things like percentage of people with advanced degrees, spending per capita on science and technology, numbers of patents issued, etc.
But what am I thinking? Of COURSE you didn't read the article
If you think that Obama is innovation... then perhaps education is not your only problem. You Obama fans crack me up.
Damn dude, we got this thang down south called sarcasim, lol. Now like when really educated folks run states or countries deficiet into the trillions of dollars, seems we could stand to have a few less highly educated innovative lawyers runnin the country and just elect a few common type folks with a little common sense, sumthan that's sorely needed in this country. Brillant type innovative types have just about brought this country down to it's knees, esp in Washington and wall street.
I dont mind living around the red state areas. Great living around people who think a chainsaw, a shotgun and a 30.06 is innovation. Meanwhile the kids are on Schip, School lunch subsidies, and Snap. Of course they arent on welfare and they vote Republican.
For someone who spends so much time touting the benefits of government handouts, you sure do moan alot about government handouts.

There is nothing innovative about taking on advanced degrees.. Hell, there are how many billionaires that started tech companies that never even graduated from College..
Michael Dell comes to mind..

Thats like suggesting spending more money on education nmeans you support children, while ignoring that often times spending more, doesnt equate to better results.

Im sure you can point to many examples where spending less money at a school district or school resulted in better educational results...Right?
Yep, like the 1st one on the list Washington dc. Not sure how much money these fools in Washington spent on there education, but it's a fine mess these highly educated fools have made, but they don't care, there highly educated crooks, lol.
Depending on what you count as Republican I dont think the future for the country lies in Alabama and Mississippi and the Republican base states. Heres a link to the article from Bloomberg.
I'm sure that the "dumness" of Alabama and Mississippi are exaggerated. But they do rate the least intelligent among the 50 states.
They are also the states with the highest concentration of blacks.
Why are you people so racist?
