You don't have a right to murder a baby. End of that story.

Liberal here has a totally different meaning.
doesn't matter where she is running. she hasn't changed her mind on support a woman's right to choice. and yes even in texas there are people who support woman's rights. both liberal and conservative women have abortions.

Wendy Davis is taking the national level playbook and trying to execute that in Texas in her run for Governor.

It didn't work for Kay "bailout" Hutchinson when she came back and made the try for Governor.
Davis' campaign team should surely remember that.

State politics is not the same as national politics.

Texas liberals are not like liberals in California. Liberals in Texas are more right leaning than a lot of right wingers in other states. This isn't the northeast, it is Texas, and you can't get elected in this state as a liberal with far left wing credentials. It just won't fly. Wendy Davis is well on her way to being a footnote in Texas state history.

Yup..that's what I've been saying as well.

But she just may win the primary because there's only 2 Dems on the ballot.
She's in the press all the time now and may get the name recognition vote over Madrigal

Her little filibuster was all about grand standing. She flip flops on issues with each new poll. She has fooled enough people to get some votes, but she will only see the inside of the governors mansion with an invitation from Abbott.
