putative=1.
generally considered or reputed to be.

Odd term to use as the President is in fact the President and not ambiguously referred to as generally considered or reputed to be.

And evalutated the insulating properties of the firebrick and rockwool in the stove to ensure that your firebox stays hot enough for efficient combustion. And designed a nice airwash system to make sure your ceramic glass door front stays clean?
I know you're being humorous and facetious, but others may actually believe your response as real. We both know there is no regulation on home built.

I wanted to give those so fearful of the Government and the EPA an idea that there are lawful alternatives to these regulations...thus easing thier fears.

I believe you have confused them even further.

New homes cannot have fireplaces and those older homes will have to remove the fireplaces before they can be sold.....

Maybe the OP should get a dictionary before starting another thread.

or a woodstove manufacturer forced to meet impossibly high mandates of emitting less than 4.5 grams/hour of particulates (set to go down to 1.3 g/h in 2019).

So wood burning stove manufacturers have never heard of technology? It isn't like this was a surprise, this is a regulation they knew was coming. Just like cars being regulated, we should be building cars that only get 8 mile to the gallon either.

I would bet he has, who hasn't seen or used a wood burning stove at least once in their life, what does that have to do with reducing the pollution they admit.
