Never thought I'd see the day when liberals would tell everyone to use oil. They don't want to allow drilling for it, they preached endlessly in the 90s about using it, and now they are telling us all that we should use it because it's so much nicer than wood. The fact is, we damage a whole hell of a lot more when we use oil than when we burn wood.
We don't tend to slaughter thousands of animals when we chop down a tree to heat our homes. We don't need a law banning wood burning stoves, we simply need to educate people how to burn their wood.
At my hunting camp in New Mexico, I use a wood stove that puts out some serious heat during the winter and it is good to cook on. They are very beneficial when the electricity goes out plus they are cost effective using wood as a natural resource. In rural America, this will have a tremendous impact on peoples daily lives when it becomes neccessary to use them in their homes. This is another example initiated by the putative president getting the government to intervene in our lives.
It's always hilarious to read threads that start with "the sky is falling" opening statement and links and read on when the actual facts get posted and then just see deflection attempt after deflection attempt followed by just plain ignoring.
Britt, I'll give you a dollar if you promise to stop using the word "putative". Ten dollars if you promise not to start another thread through the rest of the month.
