What do you think Ron Paul would do with this situation?

He would say it is none of our business, but he'd probably add sanctions. Yes, pretty much what we are doing right now.

Finn.... I know we disagree on certain topics, but I agree with you wholeheartdly on this one in regards to Ron Paul.

And in fact... you get a rep.

But what has happened since, has been an unprecented landgrab by Putin. Not since the USSR immediately after WWII, has there been such an aggressive push forward. I suppose poor Georgia is next...
Nice parroting of your talking points.

Paul would have worked hard at maintaining good relations with our allies, which Obama has ignored.

uhm putin is doing the SAME THING that America would do, and can do constitutionally

a territory or possession, or separate sovern entity CAN VOTE to become part of the USA (much like PR has voted NOT to twice), then the congress ratifies it, (the last time we did it was 1959 with Alaska)

here in this case a territory (sovern nation of Crimea ( The Autonomous Republic of Crimea )) has VOTED to be INDEPENDANT of Ukraine..... the parliament of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea adopted a Crimean declaration of independence from Ukraine.....an overwhelming majority voted in favor of independence of Crimea from Ukraine and joining Russia as a federal subject

why cant you understand what THE PEOPLE OF CRIMEA want....they want INDEPENDANCE from Ukraine and to be part of Russia....it is their RIGHT

Condemn it, do all you can to sanction Russia, but to start building up military arms to Ukraine is a jump into a place that we can not easily come back from. Russia is not Iraq, or Afghanistan. McCain is the wrong man for most anytime. He is old and time to go back to crawl under that war monger rock he came from. Romney will say anything to say he would do it different. If Obama put in arms to Ukraine he would say he would not. He has to be against anything Obama to set himself apart, so his rants mean nothing. We don't need to poke the old bear. There is a difference between condoning him and poking him.

it could be argued that there wouldnt be a russian invasion had McCain been elected. The Russians are playing on weakness. they see it in us and they are exploiting it.

this is Obamas fault.

What is so very funny is that the libs know they cant blame bush for this so instead, they are blaming the guy that didnt get elected. Geez.

Say what they want to say while campaigning, they would have handled this situation no different than Obama.

So when critical ethnic mass is reached in Southern California and Texas you're going to support the Mexican army marching over the border to "protect Spanish speakers" and then institute a referendum under occupation to see if the territories want to go back to Mexico?

In such a case the United States would be well in its power to do whatever it took to crush such a rebellion. Luckily, Mexican army sucks and we'll never be faced with asymmetric capabilities against us!

As McCain and Romney aren't good at election campaigning and have shown nothing to indicate they'd be anything but NeoConfused war mongers if given the chance.
