I think it is sad, that when you post numbers from an actual poll disproving the Obama statement, it is ignored by so many.

Not sure what you are talking about if you look at all the numbers, Medicaid expansion, adult children under 26, insurance purchased off the private exchanges, and on the government exchanges you are talking about 18-19 million people. The Republican plan is to give these 18 million the boot. Most will be sacrificed to Paul Ryans budget and left uninsured. About half will get insurance with some paying less and some paying more. About 10 million or more will probably never vote Republican again.

Those of you posting anecdotes about people being dropped... you do realize that no matter what law was passed, or if no law was passed, that there would be 1000s of possible anecdotes? I mean, if you have a pool of several million enrolees, it is positively inevitable that some people will get huge benefits (my premium dropped! my kids are covered at age 25 under ACA!) and others won't. Indeed, even if this woman with the neurological issues is at the 5th or 6th standard deviant as an outlier, it would still mean several people suffering in the same way.

Anecdotes are not the singular of data. If you have evidence that her experience is REPRESENTATIVE, then it would have value. It's not representative at all, however, by any standard. In reality, its just a grotesque example of confirmation bias masquerading as a justification for opposing a law Conservatives have opposed from the beginning.

Considering the CBO counted those who had insurance policies canceled who re enrolled has one of the 7-8 million number. And policies offered off the exchange were the exact same as on the exchanges.

It's safe to assume many of those 7-8 million already had health insurance.

The million dollar question is: how many newly ensured people are actually enrolled in the exchanges?

Most estimates say 25-30%. That's 2-3 million newly insured paying into the system. Way to go Obama. Spend 1.3 trillion (and growing from original 900 billion dollars over ten years) to get "affordable health insurance). That's about 1% of the entire USA population who's newly insured who are paying into the system with or without subsidies.

1%. Think. 1% of USA population who are newly paying customers.

The ACA will be an illustration that conservatives aren't interested in policy outcomes.

All of these fake policy questions/concerns that conservatives claim to have will fall one by one and they'll either ignore the answers or deny the answers.

You don't see conservatives at all grappling with the 8 million Americans who have signed up in the exchanges and asking themselves what does that really mean for the law's possible success or failure?

You don't see conservatives at all grappling with the millions more Americans that have gained insurance through medicaid and asking themselves why conservatives Governors in so many states are denying their own citizens that same opportunity?

You don't see conservatives grappling with the estimates which range from 9.3million to 12million previously uninsured have gained insurance this year now from three different organizations Rand Corporation, Gallup, and the CBO.

You don't see them grappling with the fact that premiums were lower than the estimates.

In fact conservatives aren't dealing with any aspect of the law that has anything to do with reality.

This opposition is pure ideological for conservatives. The law can't work because the law can't work and that's that.

This is their stance which ignores reports of the success of the law and pretends that some questions about the law have not been answered.

Do you think those people are going to be responding to the Republican plan of repeal and lose their insurance and possible subsidies? The Republicans dont have a plan as the RSC admits since nothing has ever been voted on since 2010. Shouldn't Republicans be coming up with a plan rather than telling the 8 million sorry about your health insurance but we have ours?

Obamacare final enrollment hits 8 million
But how many have actually paid?

That drops your figure down to about 5 million.

But keep trying.
