Hot dogs are German.
I'm afraid you're stuck with deep-fried Twinkies, Tater Tots or grits.

The sad thing is tht our fearless leader is undoubtedly more engrossed in the NCAA tournament than any issue that matters.

All this "Obama is weak" nonsense is a sideshow for the non-thinking.

The real salient point is that there will be a sustained military build-up in the West to counter Russia, to which Russia will respond in kind. Welcome to the Second Cold War. There will be nothing "weak" about it on either side.

That's a rather giant leap that they needed the protection of the Russians, especially since Crimea has a rather large majority of Pro-Russian Citizens. Neo-Nazi Commando's, Putin would like that one.

Hot Dogs are not German, they are American. They were created by vendors at Yankee and St. Louis Browns baseball games in the very late 1800s. They were initially called "red hots" and changed to "hot dogs" over time. The supposed creators of the hot dogs were German immigrants, but the hot dog originated in the US, not in Germany.

I don't see invading a country as a high level strategy.

Even if Obama lost his mind and wanted to intervene militarily our options are limited with most our troops committed to Iraq and Afghanistan. Sanctions are the only option, I know there has been much criticism from the right, much rhetoric but few solutions. Sanction, freeze some bank accounts are the intelligent response.

He got what he wanted (Crimea), and got away with it. Strategic success for him.

Obama wasn't elected to defend the Ukraine (not an ally of the United States, no defense treaty with the United States) from Russia.
