Natural gas buses, trucks and cars are the answer for the next 50 years. Let's put in the infrastructure for filling stations, starting with eliminating diesel fuel. Mass transit only works well in heavily populated areas, and you still need a car to get from your home to the station. Often you need a car to get from the station to your final destination too.
I do understand the implications of the things I say. Just because you don't understand doesn't mean I don't.
I said government should not subsidize roads. It's a very simple concept. And yes, there is a place for privatized toll roads. They have been used around the world for a long time.
Simple concept, how exactly would you implement it? Charge by use to use the road in front of your house? Have a private company do that?
