Well, we're sure no one will take this the wrong way. Last night Donald Rumsfeld savaged the Obama administration's handling of Afghan President Hamid Karzai, who yesterday came out in support of Russia's Crimea invasion. "Our relationship with Karzai and with Afghanistan was absolutely first rate in the Bush administration," Rumsfeld told Greta Van Susteren at Fox News. "It has gone downhill like a toboggan ever since the Obama administration came in." Then he dropped the money quote that's drawn lots of attention:

Rumsfeld: 'A Trained Ape' Could Do What Obama Can't - Rumsfeld savages president for declining relations with Afghanistan

Well Rumsfeld isn't the sharpest tool, he did manage to get plenty of Americans killed and should be sitting in prison for war crimes.

Rumsfeld & Cheney the gift that keeps on giving.

Yes Karzai was a great and honest man during the Bush administration, one of our greatest allies but suddenly took a turn for the worst.

Karzai is a monkey, how can you put this imbecile in charge? It was a mistake of putting the northern alliance in power because we disenfranchised all the pasthuns.

Rusmfeld has as much credibility on foreign affairs as Bernie Madoff has on transparency in finance.

F**k the Pashtuns. They're the Taliban, arent they? They are probably the worst human beings on the planet right now. I don't know if all Pashtuns are Taliban though.

As fkr Rumsfeld, he just needs to keep his mouth shut. He screwed up the Iraq war pretty bad, so he really has no room to talk.

Most of Afghanistan consists of pashtuns, so you can be melodramatic and say f this and f that but that doesn't change ground realities. It's their country, not yours or mine and they believe they are fighting a foreign invader. Mark my words the current Northern Alliance Government will fall apart just like the Soviet installed communists fell after the withdrawal. Our efforts are wasteful and counter productive in Afghanistan right now and we are losing too many lives there. We should leave and let the regional countries deal with Afghanistan.

or that creep Larry Summers.

It takes a war criminal to be quoted in the "news" years after illegal wars. He's always smiling happily on "Meet The press" too. Must be nice to have no conscience about what you have done to the nation, and the world actually.
