I cannot lie, I have dreams of Obamacare supporters being hung high. I despise stupid people who want to impact my life with their stupidity.

At least you do something other than suck Obama's noodle.

lol

Branching out a bit, fan boy.

If you can't even criticize Obama on these jacked up insurance rates and deductibles, you are a Democrat robot for life and you've helped tether the Democratic party to the worse political idea in American history. Which obviously benefits another party.

lol

Fact: This country's population is slowly, but surely, becoming more moderate, and liberal views are growing more popular with each passing 5 year window.

Its not an overnight process by any means. But backwards, outdated thinking like the ones "Timetrav" has are going to be a thing of the past eventually. Just like slavery, segregation, public hangings, and many other old ways of doing things slowly died off. Gay marriage and illegal weed today are equal to the segregation ideals of the past. It sounds obvious that segregation is wrong to us. But back then, it was common. In 20-30 years, people will look at our generation, and see the folks who are against gay marriage and legalized weed.....as the same way we today view those who supported segregation in the 60's, or slavery in the 1800's.

The far right is on the losing end of this battle. But, they are still big enough in numbers that they'll win an election here and there. But 10-20 years from now, the far right wing movement as we know it today will barely exist. They are on the wrong side of history. But, they wont live long enough to ever know it. Our grandchildren's children will though.

CD2013

Overall America is a really unhealthy nation especially compared to other first world nation. The majority of U.S. adults are overweight , 20% are daily smokers, nearly 10% of population have a diabetes diagnosis with another 79 million with prediabetes. Almost half of the adult population doesn't engage in ANY physical activity/exercise in their leisure time. Not surprising considering we watch more television than any other nation. We also have some of the highest stress levels of any developed nation.

You're right about solar power being limited by South Carolina government due to lobbying by electric companies. Apparently SC legislation limits the amount of solar energy at 100 kilowatts for non-residential customers and ridiculous fees for residential. In the past two years, the utility lobby has opposed bills to help people and businesses afford solar energy. They went as far as stopping a solar energy forum that was supposed to explain the state rules on solar power. They pretty much block competition so that they can build rooftop solar, but their customers can’t, and local businesses in the state can’t, either.

I guess we all now understand why insurance companies have those pre existing conditions clauses and cap annual and lifetime payments. Maybe it wasn't evil capitalism afterall. Maybe capitalism keeps costs down for consumers and gives them options based on their individual budgets?
Everyone with half a brain told Ds over and over and over and over not to vote for 0bama, and why. They chose to not believe. Let them suffer the consequences.
