The OP provides quite enough. We can clear see that the so-called "riot", which is really just a bunch of people hanging out in street and a few fools who decided to attack the cops (the only damage done was a bent street sign) were entirely on the other side of the police line. The girl in question walks in from the right, clearly talking on her cell phone, putting the police line between her and the revelers. The cop runs in from the left side of the camera, and busts her upside the head, sending her flipping over a bench.
when are you guys going to realize anything can be done with a video camera? 90% of these videos are phony or only tell 1/2 the story. When the main media outlets start covering them I will believe it. Until then, they are just real in someone's fantasy land...
The girl was turned away from the officer and shoved over a bench. Was there an arrest? Hell no. What could have warranted the assualt?
When did that become the way officers arrest people??

Try to put limits on and threaten to close down the internet and the exchange of information and public opinion.
Question the use of cameras and videotaping in the hands of ordinary citizens.
Would ever question the right of citizens to legally own and bear firearms.
Not true and we need to stay UNITED on this issue. Don't try to turn it into a partisan issue because its not.
Guilt by association. We don't have the whole story. Just a quick clip of the event. I want to know what led up to that. There is always more to the story.
So my best guess is that the animals behaved like animals and got treated as animals. If they behaved like civilized people, this never would have happened. Thus I blame the protagonists. Until more information is available.
If this woman behaved like an animal then why was she not charged? Let's face the facts, she did absolutely nothing. The lack of charges and the 23 seconds leading up to the violent assault proves this. Nuff said.
For the people who keep on insisting that it was her "fault" for being assaulted because she was in the middle of an unruly crowd, shame on you.
