Hardly any Democrat can get elected to the legislature without CTA support.

Public unions need to be disbanded in this state.

Do you actually believe Moonbeam dictates what gets taught in the various districts? Or what questions get asked on the CBEST or CSET? The CTA is straight up pro teacher, but on the flip side of that, they do not dictate the curriculum at all.

Harrier didn't say anything about Governor Brown.

It really doesn't matter who is the governor, so long as the Democrats have a super majority in the legislature, and the CTA and prison guard's union helped send them to Sacramento.

Look at what Gov. Schwarzenegger had to deal with.

Odd, liberals love to say that Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives are "obstructing" President Obama, yet they never said anything about Democrats in the California legislature obstructing Governor Schwarzenegger when he was in office.

Oh yeah, he was a Republican.

Its only "obstruction" if the executive is a Democrat and the legislative body is mostly made up of members of the G.O.P.

Nobody but you is talking about prison guards. Are you going to refute my points here or ramble on about liberals? Pick one.

You haven't made any points for Harrier to refute.

Are you a prison guard?

Harrier is leaving open the possibility of being a teacher in the future.

Please post where Harrier ever said that the CTA dictates curriculae.

You have an amazing ability to see things that aren't there.

That isn't to say that there aren't teachers who want to do positive things, it is just that the CTA won't allow teachers to act independently.

The CTA, along with the prison guards union, is in the Democrat's pocket, and virtually buys every state election.

The LAUSD specifically has had teachers who tried to act on behalf of the students to improve their education and the liberal administration has shut them down - and in the following case - fired them.

Harrier pointed out in that post that the CTA supports Democrats financially and thus negatively influences state education policy.

It helps to read things objectively instead of being informed by your vivid imagination.

Harrier has reading problems.

From your own post
"The public schools are under the sway of the teacher's union, which opposes any meaningful change that will actually help the children."
