It's mainly driven by population density, supply and demand. In high population density places, there is limited space and a growing population, which drives up the prices of housing over time. The red states have very low population density compared to blue states.
On the bright side, jobs in blue states tend to pay MUCH higher than those in red states, with the exception being Texas.
Yeah because the massive cost of living and the bubble of union wages..And what do all bubbles do?
Red states also get a huge welfare payment from the feds in terms of government spending in relation to the little they pay in federal taxes. Red states are, in essence welfare queens. Nothing wrong with that, not if they didn't deny it all the time. And this massive transfer of federal funds? It's on the backs of blue states, of course. And guess which color whines about high taxes? C'mon, guess!
Do you have a link.......because I want this tax break in my red state. If they're hiding this fact I need to know.
Do you know red states grow food for the poor on welfare? Agreement made with federal government.
Red states supply most of the beef and meats out there.
Please note: "The following historical table shows the annual ratio of federal spending to the corresponding federal revenue collected from each state. Values greater than 1 indicate the state was a net negative effect on the federal budget in that fiscal year."
By example, Texas (red state) receives $1.26 for every federal dollar it pays to the federal government.
North Carolina? Red state, $1.33
Mississippi? A whopping $3.07 per dollar. Red state.
Delaware? Gets .50 for every dollar. Blue state.

Yeah, munitions. Real important.
Blue states provide pharmaceuticals, finance, commerce, media, publishing, high technology products; it educates the majority of STEM workers, doctors, lawyers, educators and leads the nation in culture and performing arts. But, you got ammo, so I guess you win!
I see we have another Con wishing they could suppress the vote.
