West Virginia, a state overwhelmingly governed by Democrats, is one of the most blatant liars about the actual quality of education their public school students are getting.

ACT scores confirm this, as West Virginia's score is below the national average.

West Virginia's SAT scores are below the national average, as well.

Many states have dumbed down their state test so that more pass.
It's when you take national/international tests that the truth comes out.
And then that "truth" is torn to shreds for some reason saying "it doesn't count".

People seem to be quite happy with dumbed down tests that give the perception of success.

It may be working for you but it's not working for everyone. Fixing what is broke and leaving alone what isn't is important and I think what I proposed in this thread goes a long way at addressing that.

If that number gets cut by 20% it becomes incredibly inefficient.
If your school population gets cut by 20% it's not as good as you thought it was.

I'm getting just fine results. You big government types all believe you know what is better for everyone. I'm betting you don't even have kids?

Why are you so hell bent on keeping the majority of American kids dumb and therefore very likely poor?
I am not arguing what is best for all is any one solution, that is you.
