My sexual orientation is homosexual. I am a man. I have only ever been emotionally, romantically, and sexually attracted to other men. I have never been emotionally, romantically, or sexually attracted to a women. I did not choose to be this way. I naturally am this way.

How about you?
"Sexual orientation" is an abstract concept or phenomenon that can only be observed through actions.

A more objective realization would be "anatomical" sexual orientation. In this case, the man and woman have clearly defined anatomy which is outwardly suggestive of compatibility.

Your anecdote is nothing more than a disclosure of how you choose to act on certain impulses. Based on the objective example I gave you above...these impulses are suggestive of a possible disorder.

No, you didn't realize you were straight. You realized you were normal.

So you are attracted to men and women, but find yourself more attracted to women thus is why you choose women. If you are only attracted to women, when did you stop being attracted to men?

Normal doesn't mean straight. Your definition of normal is subjective and from my perspective your actions have been abnormal due to your unwillingness to accept that people are different from yourself and your definition of normal.

A preference doesn't mean you like both sexes. A prefence means you prefer only one sex.
