This much is undeniable:

The NSA has been illegally surveilling American citizens, who lied under oath about it, then got retroactive permission after they were discovered.

This isn't about Snowden.
This isn't about Russia.
This isn't about technology.

This is about a government not adhering to the laws they expect us to obey without question.

So very true, but the attention of the average American is pretty embarrassing...
They're not concerned about Snowden, or the hypocrisy of this all-
they're tuned into the latest reality shows on tv
Is it any wonder that we've lost so many freedoms in recent years?

Indeed.

Although there has been vocalized dissent lately against the runaway military industrial complex.

I guess we're due for another terrorist attack soon to remind us that there are people who we need to go kill and lose our freedoms for.

Due for another terrorist attack? That is certainly the honest way to look at it. Terrorism is an EXTREMELY rare way to die... yet people bow to fear when a terror attack happens at a politically convenient time.

It is weird that we would be willing to fund such an expensive war on a threat less common than people choking on their own pillows in their sleep.

What will happen to use who do not follow the four letter commands? (Fear, Obey, etc...)

Snowden ?considers? returning to US ? report ? RT News

I agree with you. Snowden's a sniveling coward, and a smarmy little tick.

Moreover, we can always rely on NBC (and Brian Williams, in particular) to lend a helpful hand to a traitor.

I don't believe in false flags, they are all very real visceral attacks. But do we blame the right people or phantom enemies?

Oh look, another anti-Snowden poster who can't string together a thought that isn't entirely name-calling. Name calling is a sign of maturity, intelligence, and and non-bias, right? ...... right?
