If you truly believe "education leads to liberalism", then you are truly no different than the Republicans you have such a disdain for. What you have said is ignorant, it's insulting and it's ridiculous. I am a black man, with a Masters degree who is conservative. I did not get this way because of a lack of education, I got this way through experience. Just like many of us, our views are often shaped by things that we go through. An education or lack thereof does not in any way shape my views, it only fortifies them.
I have no problem with another black person being a Democrat, but I do have a problem with those individuals not being educated enough about WHY they vote the way they do. When someone starts a sentence off explaining why they vote Democratic with, "The Republicans...." I just can't take them serious. If you are voting for someone, you should be able to explain to me, how they benefit you and the people they serve. If your only point is that you vote for this person because he doesn't do XYZ like the Republicans do, then I am sorry you come off uninformed. If I wanted to know why you don't vote for Republicans, then I will ask you, but if I ask you why you voted for this Democrat, you should know that individual's platform or at least how that individual benefits you.
I don't care which way you vote, a reply like this deserves recognition.

Mathematicians are technically liberal arts, so are philosophy majors and even some economics degrees fall under that umbrella.

No actually they didn't. The only way you get that statistic that "most college graduates" voted for Romney is if you claim that people with advanced degrees are not college graduates.
