Frankly I'm not surprised that the biggest "freedom lovers" on this site only love the troops when they are a convenient political prop. Just like the mismanagement of the VA or the dead ambassador in Libya, it's not about finding a solution or even properly identifying a problem; it's waving a tiny American flag and echoing AM radio talking points.
Stop it already. 5 for 1? 5 HIGH RANKING Taliban for this douche? Nope, it's wrong and should never have happened.

Obama did that last time around in Benghazi and got people killed over it. Try again.

yep. his bag-of-hair daddy was cheering him on from the sidelines in a response to that email, saying:

We need to close that cesspool called Guantanamo anyway, so whatever we can get for those prisoners is a bonus. I don't think that guys running around with AK47s pose much of a national security risk, unless we wave them thru customs with phony ids, and train them in CIA-backed flight schools where they are taught to fly an aircraft, but not take off or land.

Well Guantanamo never should have happened, but here we are.

As for Benghazi, please show me your outrage over the 90+ people killed in embassy attacks in the previous decade.

While we don't know everything about what happened with the former Marine in Mexico you certainly aren't comparing a POW with someone who blatantly broke laws in a neighboring country are you? We need to make sure he gets all of the diplomatic and defense support available but does his being a former marine make his situation different from any other American sitting in a Tijuana jail?

Again, using the troops and those in service to America as a convenient prop.
POW?

Soldier in Mexico 'Blatantly' broke the law?

No response necessary .. you've 'outed' yourself!

At least you are off the idea that there isn't a war going on still. I'm glad we have fewer people in Iraq but how many are still killed because of us still being involved?

I can't answer that with a number. Its too bad so many are not able to see the big picture. Those fighting us in other places are just as upset we are pulling the strings in Iraq as they are anywhere.

It's not easy as writing on a piece of paper "I renounce my American citizenship".

Renunciation of citizenship - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Renunciation of U.S. Nationality

Held as a prisoner during a war = POW. Regardless if he deserted or not.

Intentional or not, and having crossed the border many times I don't know how it was accidental, it is crazy illegal to bring weapons into Mexico. Well, unless you're the DEA apparently. There is something highly fishy with that ever changing story. But does that make him any different from any other American in a Mexican jail?

So outed myself as what exactly?
