Default CBO Can no Longer Score The ACA - It's That Hosed Up

The CBO is throwing up it's hands, and says it has no clue how to score it anymore. The law as implemented is not the law that was written, and many parts of the law are broken, dysfunctional or still not implemented or not working, and the Preezy just changes everything on the fly. Thanks in large part to a lawless president.

In its latest report on the law, the Congressional Budget Office said it is no longer possible to assess the overall fiscal impact of the law. That conclusion came as a surprise to some fiscal experts in Washington and is drawing concern. And without a clear picture of the law’s overall financing, it could make it politically easier to continue delaying pieces of it, including revenue raisers, because any resulting cost increases might be hidden.

Fiscal Diagnosis Only Gets Tougher for Health Care Law

Obama promised change... he failed to clarify that he meant returning the US to third world status by collapsing it.

Hey, I like the CBO too but I think you're dramatizing things a bit.

The changes are such that the CBO cannot state what the impact will be. Presumption is that that would have to reevaluate on a basis of what is known now. Will the do another analysis? Doubtful, as it is in effect pointless as the course is set and we will find out as time goes by. Plus I think it would need to be requested by Congress. What the CBO has affirmed, is that the ACA costs are, thus far, lower than expected. Why do you ask?

As the guy says in the article ...
“From purely an analyst’s perspective, I don’t think I would consider this terribly exciting,” Bill Hoagland, a senior vice president at the Bipartisan Policy Center and a former Senate Republican budget expert, said in an interview Wednesday. “But politically, I think it’s dynamite.”

If they've lost the CBO, they've lost the people who know WTF they're doing.
