More unamerican nonsense. Benefits are matters of contract and statute. They are not manipulable to force an employee to do something.
And it has always been easy to get Lerner to talk. That is simply an area where the Repubs have no real interest in hearing the testimony. They realize there is nothing there.
No...More Obamabot excuse making nonsense of the 12% that claim to believe this fairy-tale.
She has lied multiple times when she did speak about this scandal and then took the 5th. If she were in the private sector she would be fired.
Some of her benefits are contingent upon her not being fired. She should be fired, and the benefits that get stripped with a firing should be stripped.

Whether you realize it or not you are pointing out a glaring example of why the corruption of this data is so unbelievable. Unless there was severe physical damage to the platter the chances of all that specific data being corrupted is nil.
No I am pointing out the absurdity of conservatives believing that the key to the whole scandal could only be found on one person's email account.
Who do conservatives believe Lois Lerner was emailing to coordinate this plot to destroy conservatives if not other IRS employees? There would be multiple emails with many multiple employees whose email accounts would have this proof. Lol
It is fictional and delusional to believe that Lois Lerner's email account is the
only place to find evidence.
Instead what it shows is that conservative elected officials are opportunists who are using the fact that Lois Lerner's hard drive was corrupted and emails were lost to paint a picture of an insane nefarious plot enacted 2yrs before the scandal broke that simply doesn't make any sense.
That's fine when you have equal application of the law but that's not what happened here. This is all water under the bridge, you're still trying to argue they weren't targeting conservative groups despite the fact Lois Lerner said they were, the IG said they were and there is mountains of evidence that says they were.... and you are trying to suggest Conservatives are disconnected from reality? LOL
I'm not arguing anything. The facts bare that out.
conservatives are not only not dealing with reality.
They are actively choosing to believe an insane conspiracy theories that had Lois Lerner as a master mind who is the only one with proof of this scandal who had to be coordinating with multiple IRS employees none of whom have come forward.
Lois Lerner who then would have had co-conspirators to damage her computer's hard drive eliminating what conservatives insanely believe to be the specific emails that would have blown the case open even though they have been given 67,000 emails from Lois Lerner's account and somehow Lois Lerner had kept those co-conspirators quiet and secret, and then the IRS IT department would have also have to be kept quiet, and she did all if this 2yrs before the eventual scandal.
Then why did the IRS apologize for what they admitted was wrong?
Because they admitted their process to determine who was a legal right to claim tax exempt status was flawed, too slow, and asked some inappropriate questions.
It was also determined that front line IRS workers didn't have proper guidance to determine how to handle their concerns about how to determine these groups claims for tax exempt status.
None of the conservative organizations were denied tax exempt status, they only had their applications severely delayed.

There is mutiple emails that bring up many questions, those are only part of the puzzle. The emails in question that are missing are certainly a very important part in understanding how far beyond Lois Lerner this has extended.

The fact is that the reason being given for that lost data just doesn't add up. I have yet to hear any claims about damage to the platter , assuming no damage that leaves only two possibilities. Either it was corrupted before it got to the technicians or the technicians are in on it. You do not lose data like that, it doesn't happen. They are depending on the naivety of people like yourself to believe this story. The mere fact that this data is gone with a completey implausible excuse means there is something to hide.
The IRS did not follow protocol and inspect Lerner's back up tape before they erased it.
The IRS also filed forms that certain data storage devices involved in the scandal were no longer working and had already been destroyed - despite them still being in use.
I wonder when the US media will finally catch up with the few sources actually reporting on this extremely important story? Maybe they're scared of being audited...
