He then also went on to say that southern men have gay-like/women-like mannerisms.

It was indeed wrong of him, But the fact that Republicans on this very forum have a thread about President Obama being gay pretty much destroys the overall argument you are trying to make.

Also, he didnt say he was gay, he said he has gay mannerism, there is a difference. Both are wrong to say, but you were making a flawed argument both ways.

What you meant to say is he is the guy that is going to lose to Hillary Clinton in 55 primaries(DC, Guam, US V.I., P.R.,American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands)

He has been on the campaign rail or almost 2 years now and has never gotten more than 2% in the polls. Heck Cuomo and O'Malley havent even been campaigning and they are higher in the polls.

The comparison of Craig to Cantor is actually a good one. The evidence against either was zip, zero, nada. One guy made something up, and millions followed along like dumb sheep, believing it. I'm not sure where Vitter fits in here. He did what probably 90% of men do at some point in their lives--engaged the services of a prostitute. The fact that Dems went into a tizzy over it is the story here, not that a GOP senator went in for a polishing up at a massage place. US Senators are human beings too.

I heard he likes women with big butts. What the hell does a person's sexual preference have to do with anything?

I'd be suing for slander if I were Cantor.

It's real hard for political leaders to sue for slander or libel, even if the statements are proven false. The statements are considered part of the political discourse.

It is probably true.. and how is it offensive?

Cantor probably is gay. Nothing wrong with that.

Maybe he's confusing him with Michael Kopper of Enron scandal fame:
