Brian Schweitzer says his ‘gaydar’ goes off when he sees Eric Cantor – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

Democrat governor accuses Eric Cantor of most likely being gay out of thin blue air. Eric Cantor has been married to his wife for 25 years and has 3 children with her.

He then also went on to say that southern men have gay-like/women-like mannerisms.

The party of tolerance.

Tolerant people don't see it as a diss at all. It is merely one man's opinion. Eric Cantor is an attractive man and does seem a little "light in the loafers" to me as well. I have known souhern men who marry women and either diddle on the side or eventually divorce. It wouldn't shock me if Cantor would come out after he leaves office.

I think it's a classless thing to say. Even if he's closeted, so what?

I'd really only have a problem with him being gay if he's openly and vociferously hostile to gays...then he must be attacked.

Otherwise, leave Cantor the Hell alone. He's done anyway.

Straight men would see it as a diss. No real straight guy would want to thought of as gay or assumed to be gay. I sure as hell wouldn't.

That one person in a party says one thing doesn't mean that they represent the overall party. In terms of him having a wife and kids, so did Larry Craig. That didn't stop him from tapping under airport stalls now did it.

The diversion being practiced here is breathtaking.

Answer me this , those of you trying to change the subject, if Cantor had said this about Gov. Schweitzer would your responses and defense have been the same?

We'll wait.

Plus, he's an EX-governor. Why what he says has any significance, I don't really know.

Plus Brian Schweitzer has been spending rather a lot of time kissing up to the Right -- he was at the recent big 'new ideas' summit that Romney was running last week and has been traveling with Mr. Romney from time to time.

He's a DINO, I'm afraid.
